Delhi government issues tenders for CCTVs in five thousand DTC buses

The Delhi government on Thursday floated tenders for putting in CCTV cameras, panic buttons and GPS in 5,000 Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and cluster buses.

State transport minister Kailash Gahlot termed the move as ‘a massive step forward’ in creating buses the ‘safest’ conveyance system within the country.
