📋 Tender Overview
The general objective of this study is to develop a Master Plan for Green Infrastructure for the city of Arica, which will serve as a planning and strategic management tool aimed at improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city of Arica through the establishment of an interconnected network of green areas, pedestrian routes, public spaces, and ecosystem goods. The Master Plan must be validated by relevant stakeholders linked to green areas, territorial planning, and climate change, and must be based on a comprehensive diagnosis of the territory that considers its environmental and social dimensions, with a territorial, participatory, intersectoral, and equity-focused approach. It should also contribute to regional water security and the generation of urban thermal comfort, prioritizing interventions that particularly benefit vulnerable groups. It must also articulate the guidelines of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism with those established in the Long-Term Climate Strategy (ECLP), the Draft Regional Climate Change Action Plan (PARCC) of Arica and Parinacota, the future National Green Infrastructure Strategy (ENIV), and other relevant public policies and sectoral strategies at the national, regional, and local levels.
