The program Strengthening Local Environmental Governance through Community Environmental Committees CACs aims to strengthen citizen participation and local environmental management in the 52 communes of the Metropolitan Region, through actions aimed at the formation, promotion, and strengthening of Community Environmental Committees. Its implementation seeks to provide technical, organizational, and methodological tools that allow communities to participate in a more informed, organized, and effective manner in identifying and solving the environmental challenges present in their territories.
