Project Summary
This project proposes the organization of a workshop bringing together representatives from APEC economies and policymakers involved in policy development for innovation, intellectual property, MSMEs, and the economic empowerment of women in the digital economy.
Through this project, women entrepreneurs in innovation will gain awareness of the benefits of intellectual property tools, enabling them to leverage digital technologies more effectively for their internationalization.
The two day workshop will provide women entrepreneurs in innovation, policymakers across the APEC region and experts with valuable exchange of knowledge, experiences and information.
The discussions held during the workshop held at SOM3 2026 will contribute to identifying key challenges and proposing policy recommendations. This will support policymakers across the APEC region in formulating and implementing more effective policies to foster inclusive innovation and international growth.
