Location OdishaOdisha Chief Minister dedicated a water project with a capacity of 19.50 million ltr for Bargarh Municipality.The total water supply capacity has been enhanced to 19.50 million ltr from the existing 4.5 million ltr.The project cost is Rs 37.23 crore consisting of 15 MLD water treatment plant 12.80 km of raw water pipeline and 67.44 km of distribution system four elevated service reservoirs with a capacity of 4.15 million ltr and four ground level service reservoirs having a capacity 1.85 million ltr.The project which comes under the state governments Buxi Jagabandhu Assured Drinking Water To All Habitation Basudha scheme has been named as Augmentation of Water Supply to Bargarh Municipality.The newly-launched project will cater the needs of the Bargarh Municipality for the next 15 years. It will benefit around 1.10 lakh people.
