ScopeThe preliminary project cost of the port is P2526800 which will be located at barangays 9 and 13 in Victorias City.This proposed Integrated Port will be a service port for Northern Negros a transhipment hub for Northen Negros fish port trading center for Negros Occidental passenger hub for Northern Negros and a regional ship repair hub.estimate will cover the preparatory works basic port facilities such as general cargocontainer wharf and ferry wharf ro-ro ramp commercial and municipal fish landing bulkheadrevetment causewayaccess road dredging and reclamation civil works building works such as transit shed passenger terminal building administration building for commercial port fish market ice plant commercialgear shop administration building for fish port fish container storage building etc. port lighting telecommunication works feasibility study and detailed engineering design and documentation.The basis of port planning port traffic includes the master plan - design year 2044 development plan short term design year 2029.The cargo traffic covers 850000 tons for commodities sugar mills in Sagay City Victorias City Silay City and Talisay City - 250000 tons cargo diversion from the Bredco port and ecozones in Northern Negros.They are hoping that the proposed port development will be started by 2020 or 2021
