Scope : To Develop Ultra-Luxury Project on BR House Plot in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Realty developer K Raheja Corp’s residential development arm K Raheja Corp Homes is planning to redevelop BR House, the family house of renowned filmmaker, B.R. Chopra, into an ultra-luxury project. The 25,000 sq. ft. bungalow located on the Juhu-Tara Road opposite Sea Princess Hotel in Juhu locality of Mumbai is spread across an acre of land.
The company will develop luxury apartments, and configurations of up to 10,000 sq. ft. on a single floor have been planned, offering views of the Juhu Aerodrome and the Arabian Sea. The proposed project, 'Maestro', will have a revenue potential of around Rs 1,000 crore based on the total saleable area of one lakh sq. ft.
The approval from the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has been obtained, and the project is scheduled for delivery in 2026. K Raheja Corp Homes had acquired the property in May, 2022 through its subsidiary Feat Properties. It had paid Rs 182.76 crore for the land and the property along with nearly Rs 11 crore towards the registration of the deal.
Corporate executives, media professionals and Bollywood personalities are the target audience for this project.
