The purpose of this five year activity is to fortify the capacity of Ugandan civil society organizations (CSOs) to influence and contribute to improved development outcomes in targeted sectors, i.e., health (with an emphasis on but not exclusive to meeting HIV/AIDS objectives); education, youth and child development (EYCD); agriculture and food security; and democracy, rights and governance (DRG).This de-sub-commitment is for $500,000 basic education funds that are being returned to the EYCD office
