📋 Tender Overview
The proposal concerns the acquisition of an aerial forest firefighting capacity to be made available for the RescEU. The capacity shall consist of two (2) medium amphibious firefighting planes and meet requirements laid down in the Annex of Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/570. The proposed aircrafts are CL-515, pending program launch by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Furthermore, the planes will include - at the very least- most of the mandatory technical specifications as of Annex I of the call document Ref. Ares(2021)5238033-23/8/2021. The aircrafts will be in a condition of BRAND NEW and delivery is expected in the years 2028 and 2029 respectively. The time schedule is subject to change following such directions from DG-ECHO, but cannot be sooner than 2026. The contractual vehicle will be a Government to Government contract between the Government of Greece and the appropriate authority of the Government of Canada, which is the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC).
