📋 Tender Overview
Translational Control Of Neuronal Fate And Identity
Determining The Neuronal Diversity Of The Cerebral Cortexthe Cerebral Cortex Is The Outer Layer Of The Brain. It~S Responsible For Memory, Thinking And Learning And Consists Of Diverse Types Of Neurons. Investigation Into The Origin Of This Neuronal Diversity Has Underscored A Role In Translational Regulation. Funded By The European Research Council (Erc), The Transneurofate Project Focuses On How The Availability Of Mature Transfer Rna (Trnas) Constitutes A Regulator Of Neuronal Diversity. The Idea Is To Investigate Which Translational Programmes Influence Neuronal Lineage Determination In The Cerebral Cortex During Development. Results Will Also Help Interpret Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
