Transforming access to excellence with successful alliances of higher education in digital agriculture
Growing opportunities to advance digital agriculturewidening countries, such as greece and serbia, struggle to match the european average in research and innovation investment, notably in digital agriculture (da). this deficit limits their ability to excel in scientific endeavours. higher education institutions (heis) in these countries have the potential to address this gap, but they require support to enhance their research and education standards in the da domain. in this context, the eu-funded tallheda project aims to establish a long-term alliance between agricultural heis in widening countries and leading non-widening universities, along with local and international stakeholders. through collaborative efforts and multi-actor approaches, tallheda seeks to elevate the research and educational capacities of heis, fostering innovation and excellence in da.
