Construction of 1-GW Thor wind project off the Danish west coast.
Description:
The port offers the shortest sea route to the offshore wind park which will be located about 22 km (13.67 mi) off the coast. The service base will be established by the spring of next year to serve for work related to the construction of the wind park and will be fully operational in 2026, providing 60 permanent jobs. Thor, to be Denmark's largest offshore wind farm, is expected to be fully operational by 2027. The facility will generate clean power enough to supply over one million Danish households.
