📋 Tender Overview
Scope:
• Land Link: Land link of 3-3.5 km, connecting the islands of Thinadhoo and Kaadedhdhoo - integration of a bridge or multiple bridges connected by causeway islands and associated coastal and shore protection elements.
• Dredging & Land Reclamation
• Coastal Protection: Shore protection works for the reclaimed lands, causeway islands, embankments and associated structures.
• Structural Bridge: To design and construct the bridge or bridges encompassing pile foundations, girders and decks that will span both deep channels and/ or shallower areas between the islands of Thinadhoo and Kaadedhdhoo.
• Highway Link Road: To design and develop a suitable pavement structure, construction of the carriageway, and installation of kerbs along with other essential cross-sectional elements, ensuring the seamless connection of both islands for a smooth and reliable transportation route.
Road Furniture: To enhance the functionality and safety of the finished highway link road with the provision and installation of streetlights, road markings, traffic signs and other necessary features, contributing to a wellequipped and user-friendly transportation infrastructure.
• Access Roads: To assess the condition of the existing roadways at the landing locations of the proposed bridge/ link on both islands. Subsequent improvements and construction at intersections connecting the link road to adjoining roadways to enhance overall accessibility and functionality of the proposed link.
