Scope : To Set up a 1,600 MW Thermal Power Plant in Koderma, Jharkhand
State-owned engineering firm BHEL has won a Rs 13,300 crore order to set up a 1,600 MW thermal power plant in Koderma, Jharkhand from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
DVC finalised the tender for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package of Koderma TPS (2X800 MW) in Jharkhand, with Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) on 26 June, 2024. This is commensurate with the central government's energy security goals in the country.
