Background Vocational training (VT) is an alternative and a guarantee of decent socio-professional integration for young women and men in Tunisia. The diversification of opportunities for the latter improves living conditions and contributes to social stability. Vocational training was one of the first areas in which Swiss Cooperation became involved after the Tunisian revolution, with the creation in 2012 of the "Training and Professional Integration Program in Tunisia (PFIPT)" which made it possible to bring several innovations in the Tunisian vocational training system by introducing post-diploma training complementary to initial vocational training.
