Tactical Radios Portuguese Tender

Scope Supply of tactical radios and ancillary equipment. Cohort has stated that the contract will build on previous contracts with the Portuguese Army and provide the service with an advanced tactical communications system. The software-defined radio-based communications system will be compatible with other Nato nations the company added. The Portuguese Army currently uses EIDs software-defined PRC-525 combat net radio as the standard manpack and vehicular radio. Under this contract EID will also supply deployable base systems and power amplifiers for vehicular use and antenna tuning units. The software-defined tactical radio is designed for use in portable vehicular and stationary applications.
