Scope :
This project (CBWeb3) aims to enable a regional test network with CBDCs and tokenization of financial assets to enablecross-region interoperability among Central Banks, financial institutions, and people in two countries of the region. Thisprototype innovation consists of designing and deploying a complete functional architecture to model and experiment withCDBCs, executed in several phases and in a collaborative manner through a CBDC's Testnet. A Testnet is a testingenvironment that allows central banks to experiment with issues such as CBDC emissions, cross-border payments, andreal-time settlement, among others. The value of this Testnet lies in enabling central banks to conduct these experimentsthrough a unique interoperable protocol, ensuring compatibility for experimentation among beneficiary countries.
