ScopeThe proposed Sydney Metro West will supplement the existing T1 Western Line between the Sydney CBD and Parramatta which is expected to be overcrowded by the early 2030s despite ongoing upgrade works.The alignment will include stops including new and upgraded existing stations atWestmeadParramattaSydney Olympic ParkNorth StrathfieldBurwood NorthFive DockThe BaysPyrmont subject to feasibility andSydney CBD. Parramatta Sydney Olympic Park The Bays and Sydney CBD stations are expected to be procured as a package of Integrated Station Developments. While Pyrmont Station feasibility is further assessed the remaining stations work at Westmead North Strathfield Burwood North and Five Docks are expected to be procured as a single stations package.Work will include construction of station structure and fitout building services public domain and installation of station systems. Station system supply will be separately procured.
