ScopeA new metro station in the CBD aims to cater to growing demand and supplement the capacity of existing CBD metro and heavy rail stations. The station would enable a new mass transit option to Parramatta via the Sydney Metro West Line and the growing suburbs along the corridor joining two major centres. The location of the Sydney CBD Station will be determined following further investigations and community and stakeholder engagement.Along with Parramatta Sydney Olympic Park and The Bays stations on the proposed Sydney Metro West line the Sydney CBD metro station will be delivered as an Integrated Station Development ISD. The overstation development will include commercial retail and residential space.
