Approximately two billion people live in countries where violent conflicts are taking place. The majority of these conflicts take place in countries in the so-called Global South, which are often affected by multiple global crises.
Civil crisis prevention and peacebuilding are therefore becoming increasingly important for German and international development cooperation. It is an association of government organizations, church aid organizations, civil society networks, and political foundations.
FriEnt pools expertise from government and civil society, draws on experiences from partner organizations and networks, and identifies peace and security needs.
Objective
Strategies and approaches for peacebuilding and civil crisis prevention have been further developed in both the German and international context.

FriEnt's current members include the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Deve
