This program is based on the achievements of the Swiss Support Program for Literacy and Adult Education ASAEA and aims to test institutional anchoring models with a view to supporting municipalities so that they can over time play their role as project owners in literacy as defined by law.Since 1981 the SDC has made a commitment to contribute to the reduction of the illiteracy rate of the Beninese populations through support for literacy and adult education ASAEA. Thus the SDC has contributed to the promotion of national languages constantly seeking educational innovations so as not to impose any external model but to anchor interventions in the basis of the identity of groups and individuals taking into account the economic concerns of learners systematic strengthening of the skills of individuals and institutions in search of equity between groups social cultural or gender.
