Suburban Rail Loop Tender

ScopeInitial and Early works on Stage One from Cheltenham to Box Hill will get underway in 2022.Further detail regarding the delivery timeline and completion will be determined as part of the ongoing technical work and Investment Case.The Victorian Government have proposed to develop the Suburban Rail Loop a new 90-kilometre rail line that will connect Melbournes metropolitan train lines from the Frankston Line in the east to the Werribee Line in the west.The Suburban Rail Loop project will be led by the Suburban Rail Loop Authority.Stage One of the project includes a twin tunnel that will connect six stations between Cheltenham and Box Hill.This stage includes a proposed new station at Sir William Fry Reserve in Highett and proposed stabling yard in Heatherton.
