The overall objective of the project is to support the Republic of Cabo Verde in addressing the Quality Infrastructure (QI) gaps related to the National Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development 2022-2026 (PEDS-II) and support the implementation of specific QI related activities in this framework. The government requested IGQPI, the Instituto de Gestão da Qualidade e da Propriedade Intelectual , to develop a project to strengthen the Quality Infrastructure across priority sectors of the PEDS-II and specific for the Metrology Infrastructure. Therefore, IGQPI is requesting for immediate technical assistance from UNIDO for the elaboration of the referred QI project targeting to strengthen the National Quality System and Policy and to develop an international recognized Metrology System
