Smart Metering Raipur Tender

Scope To Set up Smart Metering Project in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh.Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company CSPDCL has awarded a contract and granted a letter of award LoA to Tata Power to implement the smart metering project in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. The contract is worth around Rs 1744 crore.The work entails designing installating and commissioning followed by the operation and maintenance OM of smart meters at the consumer end and distribution transformers level. The project will span over a period of 10 years.In addition the project will be implemented under the revamped distribution sector scheme RDSS and aims to improve the ATC losses in the designated area and boost revenue collection for CSPDCL.Tata Power will install and maintain 18.60 lakh meters in the city and rural areas of Raipur. CSPDCL had invited bids for three packages for different areas under the Chhattisgarh distribution company. Tata Power has participated in Package-II and has been granted contract for the same.
