Project Description
The proposed project is an unfunded Risk Sharing Facility ( RSF ) for a portfolio of credit facilities of up to XOF25 billion (c.US$41.4 million) originated by NSIA Côte d’Ivoire, where IFC’s exposure is up to 50 percent of the maximum portfolio. The purpose of this facility is to support the Bank’s financing of Very Small and Medium Enterprises ( VSEs and SMEs ) in Côte d'Ivoire.
Total Project Cost and amount and nature of IFC's Investment: The project consists of an unfunded RSF on a maximum portfolio of eligible VSE and SME credit facilities of up to XOF25 billion (c.US$41.4 million), where IFC’s exposure will be up to 50 percent of the maximum portfolio. The RSF will be processed under the Small Loan Guarantee Program ( SLGP ) providing pooled first loss guarantee of 30 percent.
