Scope :Sher Irrigation Project in Madhya Pradesh
Patel Engineering (PEL), a Mumbai-based infrastructure company, has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for micro irrigation project from the Water Resources Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The scope of work for the Sher irrigation project works in Madhya Pradesh includes the survey, investigation, design, and construction of SHER dams (four dams), as well as all ancillary works such as rising/gravity main and pipe distribution network works. The project is valued at Rs 998.75 crore.
The Sher irrigation contract is scheduled to be completed in 60 months and includes management, operation, and maintenance (MOM) for another 60 months after completion. The project will be executed in a JV, with PEL holding 35 percent of the shares.
