Project Description
The proposed investment is a 15-year senior loan package of up to THB3,140 million, including up to THB1,570 million from the IFC A Loan and the remainder to be mobilized from one or two commercial banks as Parallel Loan(s) to Winchai Company Limited (Winchai or the Company), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited (SSP or the Sponsor). The IFC A Loan will be used for refinancing Winchai's existing seven-year US$ loan which had been provided for a 45MW operational wind power plant in Thailand. The proceeds of the Parallel Loan (s) will be partially used for refinancing the balance of the same existing loan, and partially will be distributed to SSP for potential use in the acquisition, development and construction of RE project(s) in other SEA market(s) in the future.
