Scope : To Set up Satellite IT Park in Pananchery in Thrissur in Kochi in Kerala
The city’s IT infrastructure is going to be expanded, as the state govt has identified land in location in the district to set up satellite IT park as part of the third IT corridor in the state.
The satellite IT park is to come up in Pananchery in Thrissur as part of the proposed Ernakulam-Koratty IT corridor-3 that will be developed parallel to the NH 66.
Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL), which has identified the land, has invited expression of interest (EoI) from reputed investors, developers, and technology firms to invest and develop IT Infrastructure in the land parcels identified, under public private partnership (PPP) model.
As the Infopark is struggling to spread its wings due to land constraints, the satellite IT park is expected to remove the hurdle for the development of the city as an IT destination.
