Scope :
Saare-Liivi 1 Offshore Project is a 1,200MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Gulf of Riga, Estonia.
The project construction is likely to commence in 2025 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2028.
Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by OU Utilitas. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 5,000,000MWh of electricity. The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations.
The wind power project consists of 80 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.
