ScopeThe Rockhampton Ring Road would see the Bruce Highway bypass Rockhampton.The Rockhampton Ring Road would see the Bruce Highway bypass Rockhampton.The Western Road Corridor is a 22-kilometre deviation of the Bruce Highway from Burnett Highway intersection south of Rockhamption to north of Glenlee. The bypass is envisioned to include a new crossing of the Fitzroy River and will utilise two kilometres of the Capricorn Highway in the process of being duplicated through the Capricorn Highway Duplication Rockhamption - Gracemere project. Work on the complementary 121 million Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade which will see the Bruce Highway widened to four lanes between Rockhamption-Yeppoon Road Intersection and Terranova Drive has already begun.
