Project Summary
After COVID-19, there has been increased attention on sustainability as economies seek to build back better with greener and more inclusive approach. Improved energy efficiency in residential will contribute to a green recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the technical capabilities of quality infrastructure for energy efficiency of lighting products have not reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
This follow-up to the previous project aims to ensure the suitability of IEC 62612, IEC 62722-1, and IEC 62722-2-1 as test methods for assessing energy efficiency for lighting products. Identifying appropriate test methods from the follow-up to the previous project will serve as input or reference for subsequent projects related to updating or modifying test methods. Therefore, improving the quality of infrastructure will contribute to an environmentally friendly recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and sustainable energy security. The activity shares information and analyzes appropriate testing practices to increase the technical capacity of quality infrastructure for energy efficiency in lighting products. The follow-up to the previous project will be held for 2 (two) days in Bali, Indonesia, in April 2026.
