Objective and Summary
The object of the Project is to enhance irrigation efficiency and agricultural productivity in the State of Rajasthan. To realize these, such measures as promotion of gender mainstreaming in agriculture, renovation of dilapidated irrigation facilities, and farm management based on market demand. These measures will contribute to improve farmers’ livelihood, as well as promotion of female participation in the social activities. It will also contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 1, 2, 5, and 13.
Planned Implementation Schedule
1. Completion of project: March 2028 – when all activities, including consulting services, are completed.
2. Issuing of letters of invitation for consulting services (including construction supervision): Already hired
3. Tender announcement of initial procurement package for international competitive bidding on project construction: Already contracted
