π Tender Overview
Scope :
Prezero plans to build a new sorting plant for lightweight packaging waste in cooperation with its Danish partner Solum AS
Located on Zealand, Denmark's largest island, the facility is to be operated by Nordic Sorting, a joint venture between Solum and Prezero. The plant is to process between 100,000 and 130,000 tonnes of waste plastics per year and to provide well-sorted packaging materials for recycling. Prezero and Solum did not divulge the scale of their investment in the project. However, it can be assumed that the figure lies somewhere in the mid-tens of millions of euros. With a footprint of around 15,500 mΒ², the sorting plant is expected to be operational in early 2027. The planning phase is scheduled for 2024/25 and construction expected to begin in 2025/2026
