Objective and Summary
The objective of the Project is to cope with the increase of traffic demand in Patna, the capital of Bihar state, by constructing the new metro corridor 1 & 2, thereby contributing to improvement of the urban environment and development of the economy as well as mitigation of climate change through urban development focused on public transportation. The Project will contribute to the achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Goal 8,9,11, and13.

1. Completion of project: December 2028 – when all the facilities are put into service
2. Issuing of letters of invitation for consulting services (including construction supervision): June 2023
