Scope :
Parnaiba III Substation is a 500kV substation located in Parnaiba, Piaui, Brazil.
The Parnaiba III Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2025. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2027.
Parnaiba III Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Operador Nacional do Sistema Eletrico.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/230kV and the operating voltage level is 500/230kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 230kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 600MVA.
