Scope : Setting up a New Pallets and Shelves Manufacturing Plant near Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Warehousing storage solutions provider Godrej Storage Solutions is setting up a new plant near Chennai with an investment of Rs 350 crore - 400 crore.
A division of Godrej & Boyce which is manufacturing pallets and shelves, Godrej Storage Solutions will be making a foray into Australia for exports soon.
Currently, they have a capacity to process 90,000 tonne of steel per annum. They have already reached a capacity of 66,000 -67,000 tonne annually. Now, the process of identifying land in a radius of 100km-150km from the city to develop a similar manufacturing unit has commenced. An investment of Rs 350 crore - 400 crore would be made for the project in a phased manner over the next two-three years.
