Scope of Work:
Construction of 3100MW offshore wind farm off the coast of Blekinge, in the south of Sweden.
Description:
The partners have applied for the permit, under the act of Sweden’s Exclusive Economic Zone, for the Neptunus offshore energy hub. The Neptunus proposal comprises 207 wind turbines with maximum heights of 420 metres, to be built 50 km from the coast. The application encompasses a total installed capacity of 3.1GW and its output will meet the current total electricity consumption of the Blekinge and Skane region. If permits are obtained, construction can start in 2030.
