New Port Terminal Tender

ScopePerus Ministry of Transport and Communications plans to construct a Specialized mineral ore Terminal 150 meters north of the Nazca provinces Acari dock by the Bay of San Juan de Marcona.The port would include an automatic loading dock for ore transportation an access bridge for vehicles and a service dock for Perus navy. The port would mainly focus on the shipment of iron and copper concentrate as well as act as a public dock to ships.Feasibility studies suggest an estimated 8.2 million tons of iron ore could be exported in the first year of operation. Studies also predict that 18.5 million tons of ore could be exported by 2032 assuming steps for prudction and commercilization are completed by the Ministrys deadline.The construction of the port would ideally be accompanied by several mining projects such as the Acero Arequipa Project the Hierro Esponsja Project and the Cosmian project.
