Project Description : WFRS is recommending the replacement of the existing Station 1/Headquarters facility. The current building was built in 1967 and is in extremely poor condition. The building is in need of substantial repairs which are very costly and only serve as stopgap measures. The new facility would also house the Fire Prevention division which is currently working out of an aging annex building located to the rear of the current headquarters.
