ScopeStage 2 will follow on directly from Stage 1 with a focus on supporting the aging population with the planning process to investigate specialist services such ascardiac and respiratory servicesmedical imaging and nuclear medicinecancer andpalliative care and rehabilitation services. In the 2018-19 Budget the NSW Government allocated 15 million to the planning of a number of hospital redevelopments including Nepean Hospital Stage 2 John Hunter Sydney Childrens Hospital Westmead Stage 2 Albury Canterbury Bankstown Shoalhaven Hornsby and Goulbourn. The actual amount allocated to Nepean Hospital Stage 2 is undisclosed. The NSW Government will commence planning of Stage 2 in 2018.
