Scope :
Mnyera Substation is a 400kV substation located in Mnyera, Mnyera River, Tanzania.
The Mnyera Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2032. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2033.
Description
Mnyera Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Tanzania Electric Supply.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 1500MVA.
Mnyera Substation project development status
The project is expected to be commissioned in 2033. Approximately $16.94m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
