Project Description
Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd (Mapletree) is a global real estate development, investment, and management company headquartered in Singapore. Mapletree is now developing green Grade A warehousing infrastructure in Viet Nam (the Project), which will be executed by a private fund platform to be established by Mapletree (the Fund). The proposed investment is an A Loan of up to US$250 million to support the Fund in developing and constructing modern logistics warehousing assets in Viet Nam, all of which are expected to achieve green building certifications. Additionally, IFC will mobilize parallel loans of up to US$350 million on a best-efforts basis to finance the Fund’s development activities in India and/or Viet Nam.
Total Project Cost and amount and nature of IFC's Investment: IFC’s proposed financing package comprises of an A Loan of up to US$250 million, and Parallel Loan of up to US$350 million.
