Mahavola Hydro Power Tender

Scope :
Mahavola is a 300MW hydro power project. It is planned on Ikopa river/basin in Analamanga, Madagascar. It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2029 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2032.

Description
Mahavola is a reservoir based project. The gross head of the project will be 231m. The project is expected to generate 1,870 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $473.478m.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2032.
