Scope : Construction of 1.6 km Bridge at Kunkeshwar, Maharashtra

Kunkeshwar Bridge : 1.6 km Kunkeshwar Bridge will come up right in front of Kunkeshwar Temple in Sindhudurg District (view on Google Maps). It includes a 330 meter long iconic bridge component with a 165m long main span.

Vijay M Mistry Construction Pvt. Ltd. (VMCPL) was declared as the lowest bidder for the civil construction of new bridge at Kunkeshwar on EPC mode in western Maharashtra.

Bridge on Maharashtra State Highway SH-4 (Revas – Reddi Coastal Highway) are part of a series of at least 8 new bridges being built by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) across creeks and rivers to cut down driving times between towns along the Arabian Sea.

MSRDC had invited bids for bridge’ construction in March 2024 with a 3 year construction deadline. Technical bids were opened on May 15 to reveal 3 bidders for Kunkeshwar Bridge’s contract.
