Scope :
Konza Substation is a 400kV substation located at Konza, Machakos, Kenya. The substation is planned and is expected to be commissioned in 2026. The Konza Substation will be operated by Kenya Electricity Transmission Co Ltd.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400kV and the operating voltage level is 400kV. The step in voltage of the project is 400kV. Upon completion, the substation will be able to operate at 1050MVA.
