DESCRIPTION
The operation will support the intermediary in financing small-scale investments undertaken by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps in Belgium, with a strong focus on sustainability.

OBJECTIVES
The aim is to enhance access to finance to the final beneficiaries as well as contribute to EIB Group Green Finance objectives. It is expected that the targeted SMEs and Mid-Caps will be mainly in the eligible sectors of agriculture, forestry and fishing, wholesale and retail, and manufacturing activities. Some of the underlying projects will be located in less developed regions of Belgium.
