Project Description
i2i Venture Capital Fund I LP ( the Fund ) is an early stage venture capital fund raising up to US$ 15.0 million to invest in pre-Seed and Seed stage tech startups in Pakistan. This investment will fall under the IFC Startup Catalyst initiative ( ISC ), which supports entrepreneurship and innovation at the earliest stages. The Project is expected to be supported by the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative ( We-Fi ) as described in the Blended Finance Section.
Total Project Cost and amount and nature of IFC's Investment: The proposed IFC equity commitment is up to US$ 2.0 million (not to exceed 20% percent of total commitments) through ISC and US$ 1.0 million through We-Fi.
