π Tender Overview
Govtech is a new way to deliver public sector innovation, based on collaboration with innovative players such as startups and between government agencies. The goal is to open the public sector technology market to ensure that governments use the best solutions - not those that better fit procurement processes or that suffer from the "not invented here" syndrome. Govtech4all brings together 22 govtech European key players from 15 countries in order to foster a single EU govtech market, and promote new models of public sector innovation. In the project, public and private sector, research bodies and NGOs will work together to learn from each other, deliver common pilots and raise the profile of govtech in each country and at EU level. Concretely, the project central focus is the delivery of four to six joint pilots, applying a wide set of govtech methodologies. Govtech incubators, innovation labs and digital teams will design the challenges through a co-creation approach. Beside that, the project aims to raise awareness about govtech, better map the govtech ecosystem, and share lessons learnt among partners and other EU players.
