Scope :
Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) plans to establish a massive hyperscale data centre on an anticipated 15 Acres land parcel in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. This ambitious project involves an estimated investment of INR 8,500 Crore. Colt DCS will set up the new 100 MW data centre adjacent to its existing 25 MW facility in Airoli. This makes it a hyperscale and enterprise solution data center campus. They will develop the entire campus in 3-4 phases, with each phase boasting a 30 MW capacity. Eventually, the campus will exceed a total capacity of 125 MW.
Persons with direct knowledge of the development have suggested Colt will invest Rs 8,500 crore ($1 billion) into the project.
At full build-out, the Airoli campus will total 40 data halls and 40,000 sqm of data center white space across a 62,000 sqm site.
The campus was originally planned to have 120MW at full build-out, but Colt DCS is now planning to expand this to 150MW which will account for part of the $750m capex.
