Scope : To Open Lemon Tree Hotel in Kundapura, Karnataka
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed an agreement for a new property in Karnataka, as it expands its portfolio in the state.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Kundapura, Karnataka will have 80 well-appointed rooms, restaurants, swimming pool, fitness centre, meeting room and other public areas. The property, expected to open by financial year 2027, will be run by Carnation Hotels, the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels. This will be in addition to its eight existing hotels and resorts in the state.
The Mangalore International Airport is 90 km away, and the Udupi railway station is 38 km from the site. The hotel is also well connected for both public and private transport. The town is flanked by rivers on two sides and the backwaters, and Arabian Sea on the third.
Kundapura has historical associations and is known for its great food. The brand is driven by the growing religious tourism activities and thus expanding in this segment.
